“It’s a pretty little device. It flashes and it beeps. They talk about this infrared laser, and I can’t see infrared. So is it really doing anything?”
Here at SYMBYX, we’ve heard this question more than once. It’s a fantastic question because after all, if we can’t see it then how can we know that it’s doing anything? Infrared light is invisible to the human eye because it sits slightly outside of the visible light spectrum. But that doesn’t make it any less powerful or effective in treating chronic conditions such as Parkinson’s. Infrared light has a longer wavelength than visible light that allows it to penetrate deeper into the body and target areas such as the gut.
Chris (depicted) was initially skeptical about whether infrared light therapy could reduce symptoms associated with Parkinson’s. He put the PDCare and SYMBYX Neuro to the test, and saw a wonderful improvement in his symptoms (e.g. sleep disturbances, bowel issues, anxiety, walking). He even documented his progress!
