Shorter treatment time but otherwise seems the same
We were not sure what if any significant differences there should be with the 904 compared to the pd care we already had. There doesn’t really seem to be any greater improvement in my husbands condition but he has not deteriorated either. Shorter treatment time is good. I am wondering if we are using it correctly though. Instructions were not printed at the time of purchase but a PDF was sent online. I have printed it out as it was quite a large document. I think at this stage we are still undecided if this new device is of any greater value than the previous one we already used.
Hi Alanna, thanks for your feedback. The DuoCare 904 has three obvious advantages versus the PDCare.
1. It is fully rechargeable so you don’t need to change batteries every 3-4 hours of continuous use;
2. It does an equivalent job in 1/3 of the time it takes PDCare to treat. The majority of patients love this time saving! We don’t.advertise that it’s more effective and yields superior results versus the PDCare. PDCare is a great product but requires significantly
longer application time (think weeks and months of saving 13 minutes 3x a week!
3. DuoCare is quicker and more precise for treating pain and inflammation versus PDCare (or PhysioCare for that matter). You can select different depth settings for more accurate application and hence improved results.
Please don’t dismiss the benefit of at least maintaining one’s health with what is essentially a degenerative condition that doesn’t otherwise stand still, let alone slow down. Consistent application over the long term should continue to yield improved results.
