How To Use

01. After reading the protocol and instruction manual, take out your PDCare and press down on the black power button.
02. The green light in the power button will now turn on and the band of light will flash four times.
03. Press the PDCare onto the bare skin of the abdomen in a 9 point grid described in the protocol document. Hold the PDCare on each spot for the allocated time.
04. After completing the abdomen treatment press the laser against the back of the neck for the allocated time. You do not need to move the laser device around the neck.
05. Turn the PDCare off by pressing down onto the power button. Store it in a safe place, ready for the next treatment.

What is the difference between DuoCare 904 & PhysioCare?

The PhysioCare by SYMBYX is a medical-grade laser designed and approved specifically for home use to reduce symptoms of fibromyalgia and pain and inflammation. The PhysioCare operates on 6 x AAA batteries.

The DuoCare 904 is a medical-grade laser device designed to alleviate symptoms of fibromyalgia, and pain and inflammation. It delivers infrared light therapy at 904 nanometres to target pain and inflammation at four different depths in the body, including the closer to the skin's surface.

The DuoCare 904 treats pain and inflammatory issues 3x faster than the PhysioCare laser, making it a powerful tool in your light therapy regimen. Our DuoCare 904 is also a rechargeable device.

Both the DuoCare 904 and the PhysioCare are approved medical devices for the symptomatic management of pain and inflammation. SYMBYX devices are subject to different regulations, permits and clearances in each country. 

How long until I see results?

The timeline for noticing improvements can vary based on the condition you are using the device for, with some individuals observing progress within one to two weeks. For chronic conditions it might take a bit longer to notice results, since the light therapy works with the natural body processes. 

If you use a handheld laser device to reduce Parkinson's symptoms, most customers see results around 10 to 12 weeks of consistent use.

Do I need to wear safety glasses while using the lasers?

Safety glasses are recommended when using our more powerful, clinical-grade DuoCare 904 and ProSeries devices. Protective glasses are provided with all DuoCare 904 and ProSeries orders.

The PDCare, PhysioCare and DermaCare do not require you to wear safety glasses. In saying this, we still do not recommend shining the laser directly into your eyes.

How is the DuoCare 904 laser powered?

The DuoCare 904 laser is a rechargeable device. It has a built in lithium-ion battery making it ideal for shared home use.
